A small company by the name of Island Spice was founded in 1987. Occupying a limited factory space of 2,500 sq. ft, the production line offered only a selective handful of dry spices and other seasonings. With strive and diligence, the well established company expanded into a 22,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant.
Along with popularity and increased demand, Island Spice started producing a wide range of sauces, marinades, mixed spices and flavorings. Many of our signature products, such as Jerk Seasoning, Dragonfire and Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauces, have won awards in various National and International foods shows. Today, with over 25 years of commitment and perseverance, Island Spice has not only remained a family owned and operated business, it has also become a renown household name.
Central Milling is the oldest continuously operating company in the state of Utah and has provided the finest quality flour to homes and bakeries across the country since 1867.
All of us at Central Milling take pride in our farming, milling, and baking heritage. After all, if it wasn’t for our predecessors who started these brands, we wouldn’t know what we know today.
We mill our premium organic flour using water power—hydroelectricity is generated by our own water turbine. Our pallets of flour are bagged and wrapped using recycled and biodegradable materials. Our flour is shipped in Smart Way certified low emission trucks. We strive to minimize the carbon footprint of our entire operation.

We developed Natural Value because we felt that we could find and deliver premium quality natural and planet-friendly products to the marketplace in a more efficient and cost-effective manner. To that end, we’ve managed to streamline the distribution process and lower the cost of living well. Our goal is not to woo Wall Street with large profit margins. It is to reward your commitment to living responsibly with lower prices on natural products. We prefer a business model where everyone, including you, profits.
We’re a family that’s been doing this for a long time, since 1995. We don’t have a plan to sell out or change how we operate. This works for us. We especially want to help independent retail stores. We know consumers have more shopping choices than ever before.
We want to help stores stay competitive by offering a fairly priced center of store. We allow stores to offer their customers the exact same canned beans or toilet paper or mustard for half the price of our competitors. We are confident this will increase the share of basket for stores who carry our products.
